ABOUT US

The UNICEF Edmonton Leadership Council is dedicated to assisting
UNICEF Canada helping less fortunate children around the world. Our
organizational council consists of volunteer professionals from the community
at large. We are doctors, accountants, media personalities, financial consultants,
Internet entrepreneurs and much more. We are supported by a terrific team of event
management professionals equally dedicated to this very worthwhile cause.

Believe in Zero!
UNICEF Canada is grateful for the way Canadians have continued to support its mandate to deliver programmes that improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. Every day thousands of these children die from causes we can prevent including insufficient food, medicine, and safe drinking water. We believe that number should be zero. Recently, UNICEF Canada championed its "Believe in Zero" campaign. Your support is vital in achieving the ultimate goal of preventing so many needless deaths. Thank you.
Mission Statement
The mission of the UNICEF Edmonton Leadership Council is to financially support the programs and policies of UNICEF Canada in securing and advancing the rights of less fortunate children around the world: to survive; to live free of harmful influences, abuse and exploitation; to meaningfully participate in family, cultural and social activities; to grow into healthy, productive adults.
An Evening With UNICEF
Dress is business / cocktail. Again this year, we anticipate a sell-out. Please visit our tickets page to secure your attendance. To be held Thursday, September 22, 2011, this event is the latest in a series conceived and presented to help better the lives of millions of children and their families. The evening will feature a champagne reception, banquet dinner and live auction. It will be attended by 250 of Edmonton's most influential and philanthropic citizens as well as prominent government and media personalities. We invite all those wishing to positively influence the lives of others less fortunate.
