
The UNICEF Edmonton Leadership Council is dedicated to assisting
UNICEF Canada in the advancement of the fundamental rights of children
around the world. Our council consists of volunteer professionals from the
community at large.
Paul is a Pediatric Oncologist and the Senior Medical Director of Cancer Care for Alberta Health Services. He is involved with the Kids with Cancer Society and Wellspring in addition to his ongoing commitment to Unicef with which he has been active for four years.
Lorie is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with Canada's only Paediatric Environmental Health Unit. She has been volunteering for Unicef in schools and with the Unicef Edmonton Society since 2003.
Ted is the president of Trace Applications Inc. creating internationally acclaimed document software solutions for metal fabrication companies around the world. He was a regional finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award and received the Queen's Jubilee Medal for public service. Ted has been actively involved with a variety of local organizations and charities including the Old Strathcona Foundation and the Society for the Preservation of the River Valley among others.
Donna has enjoyed a long career with BMO Financial Group. She is passionate about improving the community she lives in and has recently completed a 10-year term on the board of directors of the KARA Family Resource Centre. She and her husband are both proud Edmontonians enjoying time with their family including six grandchildren.
Usha Pawluski is the director of Usha Pawluski Professional Corporation, a public accounting firm. She provides various accounting and income tax services to small and medium sized business with an emphasis on educating her clients to manage their finances. She is involved with the “Angel Flight of Alberta Society” which provides no-cost transportation services for individuals requiring medical services in Edmonton.
Brad completed an AAR at Taylor College and a BSC Psych at U-of-A then promptly joined the men's wear retail industry which he has served the past 22 years. Brad is a former board member of Cornerstone Counselling Centre, served as Alumni Chair and board member for Taylor College, and spent several years volunteering for Friends of the U-of-A Hospital.
